Why should you buy your next bull by private treaty?
If you're thinking about buying a bull at auction, you really owe it to yourself to look first at Wolf Creek Angus Ranch and experience the "no pressure" way of purchasing performance-tested bulls by private treaty.
We prefer selling bulls by private treaty because it provides us the opportunity to spend "quality time" getting to know each customer -- and letting them get to know us. During that time, we can discuss with customers their needs and fully answer any questions they might have about our breeding program and the bulls offered for sale.
Selling bulls by private treaty also lets us pass along significant savings to our customers and price our bulls more competitively than comparable bulls sold at auction, as no large expenses for "middle men" (auctioneers, sales managers, or marketing agents) are incurred.
Perhaps most importantly, selling bulls by private treaty allows us a chance to show our cow herd to customers, enabling them to see the dams (as well as sisters and half-sisters) of particular bulls in which they may be interested. (When was the last time you were able to see a bull's mother before buying him at auction and evaluate her udder quality, mature size, fleshing ability, general structure, conformation, and disposition -- all important traits that will likely be passed on to the bull's daughters? Probably never!)
At Wolf Creek Angus Ranch, the bulls are individually pre-priced; so, take your time...Look at the bulls; evaluate their dams and sisters; consider their pedigrees; and study their performance data. Once you do, we think you'll agree that bulls carrying the "Wolf Creek" brand represent the best value in performance-proven genetics available anywhere.
